What you'll be doing?
  • Prepare and file tax returns: Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of income tax, SST, and other tax obligations.
  • Assist in tax planning: Provide expert advice to optimise our clients' tax positions.
  • Conduct tax research: Stay updated on changes in tax legislation to ensure compliance and efficiency.
  • Liaison with tax authorities: Resolve tax-related matters effectively and maintain good relationships with external parties.
  • Support tax audits: Assist in tax audits and investigations to ensure thorough compliance.
Who are they looking for?
  • Educational background: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or Professional Degree (ACCA / CPA Aus).
  • Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a tax-related role, preferably in a professional services firm or corporate environment.
  • Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, proficient in tax software (Superior Tax), SQL Accounting & Autocount.
  • Communication: Good communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proactivity: Proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
