We are seeking a talented and experienced Production Executive to join our team at APOLLO FOOD INDUSTRIES (M) SDN. BHD. in Johor. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in overseeing and optimising our production processes to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of high-quality products.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Planning and Coordination:

  2. Assist in developing and executing production schedules to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production goals.

  3. Coordinate with various departments (procurement, maintenance, logistics) to ensure smooth workflow.
  4. Ensure availability of raw materials and resources to prevent delays.

  5. Process Optimization and Efficiency:

  6. Monitor production processes and make adjustments to optimize efficiency.

  7. Identify bottlenecks and propose process improvements.
  8. Implement and enforce production policies and procedures.

  9. Quality Control:

  10. Maintain quality standards by overseeing inspections and quality control processes.

  11. Investigate and resolve any quality-related issues or non-conformities.
  12. Work with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to implement corrective actions.

  13. Team Management and Training:

  14. Supervise production line workers, providing guidance and support.

  15. Conduct training sessions for new team members on safety, machinery, and production techniques.
  16. Monitor team performance, setting productivity and quality targets.

  17. Safety and Compliance:

  18. Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

  19. Conduct regular safety checks and participate in incident investigations when necessary.
  20. Promote and enforce safety practices within the production area.

  21. Inventory and Equipment Management:

  22. Monitor and manage inventory levels for raw materials and finished products.

  23. Coordinate with maintenance teams for equipment maintenance and repairs.
  24. Assist in forecasting production needs to maintain optimal inventory levels.

  25. Reporting and Documentation:

  26. Prepare and present production reports, including efficiency, quality, and cost metrics.

  27. Document production activities and maintain accurate records.
  28. Provide feedback to upper management on production progress, challenges, and improvements.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in production or manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with food safety systems (HACCP, GMP, HALAL, ISO22000, etc.) is essential.
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and production planning software.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies is an advantage.
