Our client is a leading manufacturer of automotive appliances, specializing in the production of high-quality vehicle components and systems. The company serves both local and international markets, providing reliable products to support the automotive industry's supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Production & Process Management

  2. Lead daily injection molding operation.

  3. Monitor and optimize molding parameters to improve efficiency, reduce scrap, and minimize downtime.

  4. Ensure equipment are properly set up and running smoothly.

  5. Team Leadership

  6. Supervise and mentor molding technicians and operators.

  7. Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and provide training on processes and safety.

  8. Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  9. Lead troubleshooting for molding defects, machine issues, and automation-related stoppages.

  10. Participate in mold trials, sample runs, and NPI.

  11. Quality & Compliance

  12. Ensure molded parts meet dimensional, cosmetic, and functional requirements.

  13. Support quality inspections, SPC monitoring, and documentation.

  14. Equipment, Tooling & Maintenance

  15. Coordinate mold maintenance and machine preventive maintenance with relevant teams.

  16. Ensure efficient use of automation equipment.
  17. Identify and escalate equipment issues requiring engineering support.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Diploma / Degree in Mechanical, Plastics, Manufacturing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5 years of injection molding experience.
  • Strong understanding of injection molding machines.
  • Knowledge of polymers, mold design, and molding troubleshooting.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and quality-focused mindset.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM6, RM8,000.00 per month
