Position: Planner

Salary Package: RM 3,000 – RM 3,800

Working Location: Taman Perindustrian Tebrau, JB

Company Background: Plastic injection molding service

Working days : 5.5 days / Week (Need to work OT)

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday) & 08:00 – 13:00 (Saturday)

Job Descriptions:-

  • Develop, maintain, and monitor the master production schedule based on customer orders, forecasts, and capacity.
  • Plan and control material requirements to ensure sufficient raw materials, packaging, and components are available.
  • Coordinate with production, purchasing, and warehouse departments to balance workload and avoid bottlenecks.
  • Monitor work order progress, machine utilization, and manpower allocation.
  • Adjust schedules proactively in response to production delays,
  • equipment breakdowns, or urgent orders.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct periodic stock checks. Generate reports on production status, delivery performance, and capacity utilization.
  • Work closely with sales and customer service teams to confirm delivery dates and manage customer expectations.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Support ERP/MRP system data accuracy (BOMs, lead times, stock levels).

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Production Planning, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in production planning, preferably in plastic injection moulding or a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of MRP/ERP systems, production scheduling, and capacity planning.
  • Familiarity with plastic materials, moulding cycles, and production flow in injection moulding operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles (FIFO, safety stock, reorder points).
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and coordination abilities across departments.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and production planning software.
  • etail-oriented with strong time management skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with good negotiation and decision-making
  • capabilities.
  • Required to work OT.

Job Type: Full-time
