Position: Buyer

Salary Package: RM 2,800 – RM 3,500

Working Location: Taman Perindustrian Tebrau, JB

Company Background: Plastic injection molding service

Working days : 5.5 days / Week (Need to work OT)

Working Hours: 08:00 – 17:00 (Monday – Friday) & 08:00 – 13:00 (Saturday)

Job Descriptions:-

1 Plan & manage company procurements, coordinating and monitoring all purchasing activities, with the overall aim of optimizing inventories.

2 identify, evaluate, and select suppliers for materials and services. Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms and terms to achieve the best possible value for the company. 3 Monitor material regularly to ensure stock requirement are met for demand.

4 Ensure timely delivery of raw materials from Suppliers to support production line.

5 Ensure the delivery of materials to production lines in accordance.

6 Maintain accurate records of purchases, inventory, and supplier information.

7 Prepare reports and forecasts on procurement activities.

8 Full accountability in planning & coordination activities related to warehouse deliveries, shipping and logistic activities

9 Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards in all procurement activities.

10 Resolve material shortages with suppliers to prevent production line down.

11 Ensure that relevant KPI and optimal purchases within allocated/approved budget.

12 Ensure comply to all requirements of ISO (inclusive of all standards approved by the Management).

13 Assist planner.

Requirements

● Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills

● Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma or equivalent.

● At least 2-year(s) of working experience in purchasing/supply chain /warehouse managing role

● Preferably Executive specializing in Manufacturing / Production or equivalent.

● Meticulous and good in MS Excel

● Required to work OT.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,500.00 per month
