Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Vendor Management

  • Coordinate procurement of raw materials, packaging, spare parts, or finished goods.
  • Evaluate vendor performance and maintain supplier relationships.
  • Ensure timely purchase order creation, follow-ups, and delivery tracking.
  • Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and service levels when required.

2. Inventory & Planning

  • Monitor stock levels to avoid shortages or overstock situations.
  • Support demand forecasting and material planning.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliations and maintain accurate records in ERP systems.
  • Optimize inventory turnover and working capital.

3. Logistics & Distribution

  • Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments with logistics partners.
  • Track and manage freight, customs documentation, and transportation schedules.
  • Ensure on-time deliveries to warehouses, distributors, or customers.
  • Resolve logistics issues and minimize delays.

4. Data Management & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate supply chain data in ERP
  • Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports: stock status, delivery performance, supplier SLA, etc.
  • Analyze data to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.

5. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with production, sales, warehouse, and finance teams.
  • Align supply chain activities with business needs and customer demand.
  • Support new product launches and process improvement initiatives.

Skills & Qualifications

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.

Experience

  • 1–5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, warehousing, vendor management or planning
  • Experience with ERP systems Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, reporting).
  • Knowledge of inventory management and forecasting tools.
  • Understanding of import/export processes (if applicable).

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM4, RM5,000.00 per month
