We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Fashion Buyer / Merchandiser to support the buying and merchandising function for our retail brand. This role involves assisting with product selection, trend research, supplier coordination, stock planning, and ensuring our stores receive the right products at the right time. Ideal for someone passionate about fashion and eager to grow in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in selecting and proposing product collections based on trends, customer demand, and brand direction.
  • Conduct trend research, market analysis, and competitor checks to support buying decisions.
  • Prepare and process purchase orders, price lists, and product information.
  • Track product performance, sales reports, and inventory levels to identify bestsellers and slow-movers.
  • Support stock allocation, replenishment, and store distribution planning.
  • Work closely with the store teams to understand product needs and feedback.
  • Check product quality, fit, and consistency with brand standards.
  • Assist in planning seasonal assortments, pricing, and product launches.
  • Handle sample management, product labelling, and SKU creation.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and data for all buying and merchandising activities.
  • Produce merchandising reports and weekly sales updates for management.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Fashion, Business, Retail Management, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of relevant experience (fresh graduates encouraged).
  • Strong interest in fashion retail, trends, and product knowledge.
  • Good analytical skills with basic understanding of sales and inventory data.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Strong communication skills for dealing with principals and internal teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic reporting tools.
