Junior Account Executive

Job Description

1. Assist in handling accounts payable and receivable
2. Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow
3. Support in monthly closing and financial reporting
4. Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records
5. Ensure accurate data entry into accounting systems
6. Assist withtax submissions, audits, and statutory compliance
7. Support senior accounting staff with ad-hoc accounting tasks

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least a Diploma in Accounting or equivalent qualification.
2. Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia [ mandarin spoken candidate will have an added advantage]
3. Must be able to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Description

1. Responsible for preparation of full sets of accounts, including general account, account payable, account receivable and anything related to closing the accounts in a timely manner.
2. Responsible for day-to-day finance and accounts administration task.
3. Process bank reconciliation.
4. Manage all accounting documentation and perform filing duties for efficient safekeeping.
5. Effectively liaise with auditor, company sec, tax agent and all other relevant parties for anything relating to accounting matters.
6. Effectively liaise and coordinate with branches & subsidiaries of the group for accounting & bookkeeping matters.
7. Prepare financial reports to directors & management.
8. Perform any ad-hoc duties assigned by the company.

Requirements

1. Candidate must possess at least Professional Certificates, Diploma/Professional Degree in Finance / Accountancy banking or equivalent.
2. At Least 3 years of working experience in accounting.
3. Skill Requirements: computer literate (Excel, Words, Auto count software)
4. Able to handle full set of accounts independently.
5. Initiative and the ability to work independently.
6. Meticulous and careful to details.
7. Required language: English, Bahasa Malaysia [mandarin spoken candidate will have an added advantage]
