Role Purpose:

Responsible for performing internal mailroom operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling, sorting, and distribution of internal and inter-department correspondence including confidential and credit card-related mail.

Available work Location: Menara Maybank, Dataran Maybank and Mercu Maybank

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily mailroom operations such as sorting, recording, and distributing incoming and outgoing internal mail.
  • Handle credit card mail and confidential documents in accordance with company procedures.
  • Maintain accurate mail logs, registers, and records for audit and tracking purposes.
  • Assist in preparing internal dispatch envelopes, labeling, and routing to designated departments.
  • Ensure all internal correspondence is delivered promptly within stipulated timelines.
  • Support preventive maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure the mailroom area is well-organized.
  • Coordinate with external mail and courier services when required for inter-office transfers.
  • Report any irregularities or issues in mail handling to the Mailroom Supervisor immediately.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum SPM qualification.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a mailing room or administrative support role.
  • Good knowledge of building layouts and delivery routes (Menara Maybank / Dataran Maybank / Mercu Shah Alam)
  • Basic knowledge of mail handling procedures and documentation.
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to handle confidential information discreetly.
  • Able to perform physical tasks such as carrying mailbags or parcels.
