Role Purpose:
Responsible for performing internal mailroom operations, ensuring timely and accurate handling, sorting, and distribution of internal and inter-department correspondence including confidential and credit card-related mail.
Available work Location: Menara Maybank, Dataran Maybank and Mercu Maybank
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily mailroom operations such as sorting, recording, and distributing incoming and outgoing internal mail.
- Handle credit card mail and confidential documents in accordance with company procedures.
- Maintain accurate mail logs, registers, and records for audit and tracking purposes.
- Assist in preparing internal dispatch envelopes, labeling, and routing to designated departments.
- Ensure all internal correspondence is delivered promptly within stipulated timelines.
- Support preventive maintenance and housekeeping activities to ensure the mailroom area is well-organized.
- Coordinate with external mail and courier services when required for inter-office transfers.
- Report any irregularities or issues in mail handling to the Mailroom Supervisor immediately.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum SPM qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in a mailing room or administrative support role.
- Good knowledge of building layouts and delivery routes (Menara Maybank / Dataran Maybank / Mercu Shah Alam)
- Basic knowledge of mail handling procedures and documentation.
- Responsible, reliable, and able to handle confidential information discreetly.
- Able to perform physical tasks such as carrying mailbags or parcels.
