About the role

This is a full-time IT Support Internship opportunity based in Kuala Lumpur. As an IT Support Intern at JCL Credit Leasing Sdn Bhd, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's information technology infrastructure and ensuring the smooth running of its operations. What you'll be doing

  1. Providing first-line technical support and troubleshooting for end-users on a range of IT-related issues
  2. Assisting with the installation, configuration and maintenance of computer hardware, software and peripheral devices
  3. Monitoring and maintaining the company's network infrastructure, including servers, switches and routers
  4. Implementing and testing software updates and security patches
  5. Documenting IT support processes and procedures
  6. Collaborating with the IT team to identify and resolve IT-related problems
  7. Providing training and guidance to end-users on the use of IT systems and applications

What we're looking for

  1. Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field
  2. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot IT issues
  3. Good understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively support end-users
  5. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
  6. Willingness to learn and a keen interest in the IT industry
