Job Summary

The incumbent will be responsible for overseeing Sales and Distribution operations within the assigned territory, ensuring sales KPIs and business growth objectives are achieved. This role involves close collaboration with distributors, dealers, and internal teams to drive sales results, enhance trade marketing initiatives, and strengthen dealer engagement and loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Dealer Management

  • Work closely with distributors to manage dealer portfolios, including system updates such as network creation, modification, and termination.
  • Develop, lead, and implement sales strategies and promotional plans to meet sales targets and expand UM's market coverage and touchpoints.
  • Build and maintain dealer loyalty through impactful activations across both Prepaid and Postpaid segments.
  • Provide coaching and performance oversight to Product Specialists and Sales Teams to ensure area sales objectives are met.

Trade Marketing & Market Intelligence

  • Support trade marketing activities, including events, signage, POSM distribution, and monitoring of pyramid performance.
  • Ensure all POS materials and sales collaterals are current and aligned with ongoing campaigns.
  • Gather and analyze market insights and competitor activities to identify potential growth opportunities.

Training & Knowledge Development

  • Conduct training programs to enhance dealer competency in:
  • System: Ensuring accurate activations and compliance.
  • Product: Deep understanding of product offerings.
  • Sales Techniques: Presenting information effectively and persuasively.
  • Incentives/Pyramid: Clear understanding of loyalty programs and incentive structures.
  • POSM: Familiarity with the latest marketing materials and usage.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives and optimal use of resources to achieve business goals.

Job Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline.
  • Minimum 6 years of sales experience in Telco or FMCG industries, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills.
  • Proven history of achieving or surpassing sales targets.
  • Energetic, results-oriented, and proactive in identifying and pursuing business growth opportunities.
