Job Summary:

The Academic Assistant provides administrative and academic support to Head of Academics, lecturers, and other relevant department. This role ensures smooth daily operations of academic activities, record management, and coordination of academic schedules and documentation.

  • Liaise with other departments (HR, Finance, Exam Unit) to support academic operations.
  • Support lecturers in compiling course documentation, attendance records, and assessment reports.
  • Coordinate student-related academic matters such as attendance tracking, assignment submissions, and examination arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate academic records and databases.
  • Liaise with other departments (e.g., Admissions, Examination, and Administration) to ensure smooth academic operations.
  • Assist in organizing academic events, workshops, and meetings.
  • Handle general academic correspondence and inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to program coordinators and academic heads as needed.
  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Education, or a related field.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in academic or administrative support (fresh graduates may be considered).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2, RM2,500.00 per month
