Facilities Engineer (ESG, Safety & Health Focus)

We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to oversee the operation, maintenance, and sustainability performance of our plant facilities. This role is integral in ensuring reliable, safe, and efficient facility operations while advancing the organization's Environmental, Social & Governance (ESG) and Safety & Health commitments.

Job Description
  • Manage and optimize all facility systems including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, utilities, and building infrastructure to ensure operational reliability and efficiency.
  • Lead energy management and resource conservation initiatives, focusing on reducing electricity, water, and waste usage to meet ESG and corporate sustainability targets.
  • Support and coordinate ESG data collection, reporting, and audit readiness, including tracking carbon footprint, energy intensity, and sustainability metrics.
  • Implement and maintain Safety & Health programs in compliance with company policy and statutory requirements, ensuring a safe, healthy, and compliant workplace.
  • Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections, and root-cause analyses for facility-related incidents, driving preventive and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with EHS, Production, and Sustainability teams to deliver green and safety initiatives such as renewable energy adoption, waste reduction, and ergonomic improvements.
  • Oversee preventive maintenance and improvement projects, ensuring compliance with technical, safety, and environmental standards.
  • Manage contractors and service providers, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including maintenance records, system drawings, safety procedures, and sustainability reports.
  • Drive continuous improvement by introducing innovative facility solutions and technologies that enhance safety, energy efficiency, and environmental performance.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Facilities, or Environmental Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in facilities management, plant engineering, or utilities operations within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Solid understanding of safety, health, and environmental standards (e.g., OSHA, DOSH, ISO 14001, ISO
  • Experience in energy efficiency projects, sustainability reporting, or ESG data management is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical distribution, compressed air, and water systems operations and optimization.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify performance gaps and recommend practical, cost-effective solutions.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a collaborative and proactive approach.
