JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Ensure proper maintenance of record management system and collection points for vessels documents, both shore-based and vessels-based
  • Work closely with Document Controller to ensure proper maintenance and updating of vessels certificates tracking database, Marine notices dissemination, Document change request, vessel daily report (VDR) ,
  • To compile ISM and Non-ISM Records.
  • Assist in developing and executing HSSE plans / campaigns/ initiatives that comply with Company policies and procedures as well as client/charterer requirements.
  • Ensure all marine operations, logistic, agency and tenders meet Company and Client standards and best practices in safety management.
  • Participate in external and internal audits such as ISM, ISPS & MLC, OVMSA, Charterer and close out all audit findings within the deadlines.
  • Assist investigation on any HSSE related incidents / accidents and execute all recommendations to close out the report and/or improvement.
  • Collect and compile HSSE Plan deliverables.
  • HSSE statistics, HSSE Performance, UAUC, minutes of safety meeting for each vessels assigned.
  • Assist to conduct safety briefing to all crews on board
  • Assist operations, technical and procurement to close out punch list vessels delivery and client inspection as required for the assigned vessels.
  • Liaise with MMD in order to establish DOC for SKSOV /SKOM and its associated companies.

JOB REQUIREMENT

  • Minimum Diploma in Marine Engineering or Occupational Health and Safety discipline.
  • Minimum 4 years working experience in related field.
  • Conversant with the ISM Code, ISPS code, SOLAS, MARPOL, STCW
  • Knowledge in latest development in offsh cerore marine industry HSSE best practice.
  • Familiar with Clients' HSSEMS.
  • Possess SHO certified by NIOSH and NEBOSH is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and able to interact with all levels.
  • Attention to detail and problem solving.
