As a Senior Systems Storage Engineer, you're responsible for design, support, and maintenance for Digital Technology Team. You'll be involved in aspects of storage infrastructure availability (lifecycle and uptime), storage management and data durability.
 

As a Senior Systems Storage Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Involving in configuration, allocation, and management of centralized storage systems and other deployed storage solutions

  • Helping to develop or engineer new solutions related to data storage and access

  • Recommending the type of storage solution to deploy

  • Implementing new storage technologies - tapeless, cloud storage etc

  • Updating any obsolete sections of the data storage, management, and access network

  • Partnering with the Cyber Security Risk and Compliance organization to ensure appropriate handling of data storage and resolution of audit findings

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or "STEM" Major (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math)

  • Have at least 6 years of experience data storage in NetApp ONTAP

  • Have experience in storage Operations management, backup systems, SAN, NAS, DR

  • Have aptitude, experience and/or passion for the creation and execution of an enterprise-grade storage & backup team & environment

  • Have working knowledge of systems from major data storage vendors and cloud services

  • Have working knowledge of technical aspects of storage systems – including but not limited to DAS, NAS, RAID config, LUN Masking

  • Have troubleshooting experience and ability to fulfill L3 support

  • Have ability to set targets, execute a plan, and deliver results
