About the role

Manjoy Gadget Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking an experienced Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our Ipoh, Perak branch. As a full-time role, this position will be responsible for leading a team of talented professionals and ensuring the efficient and effective running of our retail location. The Branch Manager will play a crucial part in driving the growth and profitability of our business in the Perak region.

What you'll be doing

  1. Manage and supervise all branch staff, including recruitment, training, performance management and rostering
  2. Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and customer retention
  3. Oversee inventory management, product ordering, and stock control procedures
  4. Analyse financial data and key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
  5. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and relevant industry regulations
  6. Foster a positive and productive work environment that aligns with Manjoy Gadget's core values
  7. Liaise with the head office team to communicate branch performance and discuss strategic initiatives

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 5 years' experience in a branch or retail management role, preferably in the consumer electronics or gadgets industry
  2. Proven track record of leading and motivating teams to achieve sales and operational targets
  3. Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting and cost control
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers, staff and other stakeholders
  5. Proficient in using data analysis tools to generate insights and inform decision-making
  6. Tertiary qualification in Business, Management or a related field is highly desirable
