Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the full spectrum of general ledger and accounting functions.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
  • Prepare timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Review e-invoicing data, prepare tax computations, and handle CP204 submissions.
  • Assess Capex and Fixed Asset proposals, including performing ROI analyses.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate finance teams on audit and tax matters.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or an ACCA qualification.
  • At least 5 years of experience in general ledger, financial reporting, and taxation.
  • Solid understanding of accounting standards and Malaysian tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems; experience with Oracle Fusion is a strong advantage.
  • Meticulous, analytical, and able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Open to Malaysian applicants only.
