About the role

We are seeking a talented and experienced Interior Designer to join our dynamic team at LW Group Sdn Bhd in the vibrant neighborhood of Mont Kiara, Kuala Lumpur. As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional and innovative interior designs that bring our clients' visions to life.

What you'll be doing

  • Lead the conceptualisation and development of comprehensive interior design solutions for a variety of commercial and residential projects
  • Collaborate closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences, and translate them into visually stunning and functional interior spaces
  • Oversee the execution of design projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
  • Manage and mentor a team of designers, providing guidance and support to ensure project deliverables are met
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in the interior design industry
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the interior design department within the company

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in interior design
  • Preferably with site experience and knowledge of on-site coordination
  • Coordinate with internal project team to ensure smooth design execution
  • Guide junior designers and ensure design meets client's expectations and project goals
  • Strong knowledge of materials, detailing, and construction costing
  • Able to control and manage design team budget effectively
  • Proficient in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge in 3D software (e.g. SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar) is a bonus
  • Responsible, proactive, and able to take initiative
  • Committed to meeting deadlines and maintaining budget control
  • Good communication skills and strong client understanding
