Summarize / Overview of the objective of the role.

As a Maintenance Support Engineer, you will play a key role to supporting the maintenance and reliability of production equipment to ensure continuous, safe, and efficient operation within manufacturing environment. This role assists in preventive and corrective maintenance planning, SAP data management, and spare parts inventory. The engineer works closely with the production teams to minimize downtime, optimize maintenance processes, and implement sustainable technical solutions that enhance plant efficiency and product quality.

Main Responsibilities.

  • Planning: Plan and execute preventive maintenance programs and lead maintenance teams in performing Preventive Maintenance Program (PM), support spare parts planning, contribute to FSMS and EHS compliance planning by preparing checklists and documents.
  • Organizing: Perform SAP data entry system and maintenance recordkeeping, support spare parts tracking and reordering coordination, assist in utilities monitoring by collecting and compiling data.
  • Engaging: Participate in RCA and audit activities, documenting findings and action items, engaging in rotational learning assignments to build leadership capabilities, coordinate with contractors/vendors for service scheduling and follow-ups.
  • Controlling: Prepare maintenance reports and presentations (KPIs, Budget and Compliance), maintain FSMS and EHS document (inspections and calibration records), track and update compliance-related corrective action as assigned by Managers.
  • Mentor and Train: Provide guidance, training and evaluation for maintenance teams, fostering a skilled and motivated team.
  • Ensure Safety, Halal, GMP, HACCP Compliance: Implement all company regulations, Safety, Halal, GMP, HACCP requirements and best practices across all service and maintenance activities.

Job Requirements.

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years related working experience in maintenance engineering and manufacturing.
  • Possess a recognized Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering, demonstrating a strong technical foundation.
  • Strong ability to lead teams, organize operations, and manage vendor relationships effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging with contractors or vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance practices and familiar with troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
