Get to Know the Role

We are seeking a Finance Solution Excellence Analyst to join our dedicated team. This position is ideal for candidates with strong experience in process improvement, automation, and AI-driven solutions.

The role requires technical expertise in Python, AppScript, SQL, or low-code platforms (e.g., UiPath, KNIME, Workato), combined with a strong background in business process design.

You will play a crucial part in supporting daily process improvement projects, collaborating across the organization with Finance Shared Services Center, Global Process Owners, and Group Technology Services.

You will report directly to the Manager, Finance Solutions Excellence.

The Critical Tasks You Will Perform

• Automation Lead & Execution: Drive the end-to-end design, development, and maintenance of scalable solutions using UiPath/Workato/KNIME and advanced scripting (Python/AppScript).
• Data Engineering: Architect and deploy robust Python scripts and SQL queries for data wrangling, complex reconciliation, and validation across financial ledgers.
• Process Transformation: Serve as the subject matter expert to analyze, redesign, and streamline manual SSC processes into scalable, efficient solutions.
• AI/Innovation Prototyping: Contribute to strategic AI and analytics initiatives by developing functional prototypes and tools that drive data-driven decision-making.
• Enterprise Alignment: Collaborate with Group Technology Services to ensure solutions meet enterprise architecture, security, and scalability standards.
• Project Ownership: Manage small projects and workstreams autonomously, ensuring delivery and effective stakeholder communication.
• Knowledge & Governance: Assist in creating essential documentation, user guides, and training materials to ensure compliance and drive tool adoption.

What Essential Skills You Will Need

• Education: Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Information Systems, Data Science, Engineering, or Finance).
• Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in process automation, data engineering, or a technical role.
• Core Technical Skills: Strong foundation in Python, Google AppScript, or SQL for data wrangling and scripting.
• Automation Proficiency: Familiarity in low-code/RPA platform (UiPath, KNIME, or Workato) or building automation through scripting.
• Cloud & AI: Familiarity with major cloud platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure) for solution deployment. Exposure to GenAI/ML concepts is a plus.
• Process Acumen: Proven ability to analyze complex business processes, identify gaps, and propose data-driven improvements.
• Soft Skills: Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
