  • Greet and Assist Guests: Welcome guests arriving at the hotel in a friendly and professional manner. Assist with check-in and check-out processes efficiently and accurately.
  • Answer Phone Calls: Handle incoming phone calls, answer guest inquiries, and manage room reservations.
  • Manage Reservations: Process room reservations through the hotel management system, confirm booking details, and ensure room availability as per schedule.
  • Handle Payments: Manage payment transactions (cash, credit card, or digital) and provide receipts to guests.
  • Provide Information: Offer guests information about hotel facilities, nearby attractions, and travel guidance.
  • Handle Complaints: Listen to and resolve guest complaints in a professional and timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure Guest Security and Privacy: Safeguard guest security and privacy while handling personal information or registrations.
  • Coordinate with Team: Work closely with housekeeping, maintenance, and management teams to ensure smooth hotel operations.

Qualifications:

  • Work Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience as a receptionist or in the hospitality industry is an advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills in both English and Malay. Additional languages are a plus.
  • IT Skills: Proficient in using computers and hotel management systems. Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) is also required.
  • Personality: Friendly, professional, and patient in customer service. Able to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
  • Appearance: Must maintain a neat and tidy appearance at all times while on duty.
  • Availability: Must be available for rotational shifts, including weekends, public holidays, and night shifts.
