  • Proactively manage the legal aspects and compliance of the businesses of the Companies, including

internal company secretarial works.

  • Provide services to the Group of Companies in advisory, drafting, review, deal structuring and liaising

with external counsel, company secretary and auditors, where necessary: M&A, joint ventures, due diligence, investment/divestment, corporate restructuring, conveyancing, venture capital and alternative funding, Islamic financing, intellectual property, industrial relations, litigation avoidance and dispute resolution.

  • Provide advisory services to the Group of Companies on regulatory compliance: Main Market Listing

Requirements of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Companies Act 2016, anti-corruption (including the Anti Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001), personal data protection (PDPA and other applicable regulations including the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union), eKYC and financial regulations, etc.

  • Support reporting to, and decision-making of, the board of directors of the Group of Companies.
  • Help the operations teams manage customer and partner disputes to safeguard the interests of the

Group of Companies.

  • Drive templatization and use of document and work management technology to drive savings and

efficiency for the business of the Group of Companies.

  • Assist in creating and implementing all legal policies, activities, procedures as relevant and required by

the Group of Companies.

  • Advise on overall potential legal issues and finalizing agreements after

discussion and negotiation both with management and any external parties including mergers and acquisitions.

  • Advise on overall potential legal issues, drafts, and review agreements from the internal stakeholders

such as from Divisions/Departments when needed.

  • Advise on issues arising from management on any projects, agreements, and disputes.
  • Attend any assigned projects, assignments or tasks given by the Group Chief Executive Officer /

Executive Director when required.

  • Actively involved in and taking part in the process of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ensure the maximization and utilization of online, remote working, company systems and applications

to improve the effectiveness of the Group of Companies operations.
