Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of a shop with not over 6 staff. Ensure the operation is efficient and meet related standard.
  • Handle shop operation related complaints and emergency properly.
  • Maintain sufficient & accurate stock level in the shop for our distributors
  • Promote & maintain security – shop facility, stock & personal safety.
  • Ensure the submission of daily Cash Sales Summary (CSS) on time and accurately.
  • Gather feedbacks from customers to improve the operation and customer service.
  • Maintain good relationship with vendors and external organizations-bank, police office, security etc.
  • Coach, motivate and train staff to maintain good customer service at all time.
  • Ensure the facilities within shop are in good condition through diligent monitoring & providing systematic maintenance.
  • To conduct monthly self-audit in the shop so as to ensure full compliance at all time.
  • Ensure full compliance with statutory/government bodies & observes rule of law when conducting business May it be licensing/regulatory or safety requirement.

Programs, Processes, Services:

  • Regular check on cashiering, payment collection, SA88 input, PRS information input
  • Regularly check on shop assets and equipment
  • Support company run Promotional, training & motivational activities

Strategy Development (AOP/LRBP)

  • Plan for yearly capital expenditure and manpower requirement

Staff Management:

  • Train staff to be courteous and helpful
  • Improve relationship with distributors, vendors and colleague
  • Staff Discipline
  • Develop Staff performance expectations & track performance.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA) and/or Related Experience:

  • At least 5 years' experience in shop/retail & 3 year in Supervisory position
  • He/ She must  be customer service oriented, articulate & able to interact with people at all levels
  • Highly motivated and expected to lead shop staff to give high standard of customer service
  • He/ She must have personal integrity and take responsibility for his/ her actions
