Brief

Our #MKAGroupFinanceTeam is expanding We are hiring for a result-driven Account Executive with a strong passion for financial accuracy within a multi-industry organization. This expert will be managing general ledger functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and driving pricing strategies across diverse business units (BUs).

What You Would Work On

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate and timely postings across multiple business units and industries.
  • Record and maintain journal entries for general ledger accounts.
  • Reconcile balance sheets, accounts and sub-ledger balances regularly.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Monitor financial data integrity and support the implementation of internal controls and audit processes.
  • Provide actionable financial insights to senior management and support strategic decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/CMA would be a plus).
  • 1 to 2 years of experience in accounting roles with a focus on general ledger would be ideal.
  • Experience working in a multi-industry or conglomerate organization is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards (i.e. IFRS) and regulatory compliance.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Ability to work independently and adapt to dynamic and changing business environments.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin (this role requires to deal with Mandarin speaking stakeholders).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

  • Our HQ, MKA Group is located at 40, Jln TPP 5, Taman Perindustrian Putra, 47130 Puchong, Selangor
  • Working hours is 9am-6pm, Mon-Fri.
