Claims Administrator

Job Purpose
Lockton is looking for a Claims Administrator to provide quality claim service to clients and ensure smooth operation of the consulting department with respect to general insurance claims in accordance to Group Policies & Standards of Service.
Key Responsibilities:
Check forms and relevant documents, follow missing information and ensure the completeness of all required information.
Maintain a good filing system, data entry of proposal information, issue quotes, follow up with insurers on payments and issuance of policy. Support the filing of all documents, papers, claims records and reports.
Input all data in a specific claims portal and maintain electronic filing for the whole claims process.
Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards; and promptly report to supervisor on all issues arising.
Ensure timely and accurate data entry of claims records into the claims portal.
Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualification and Experience
- Degree holders in any disciplines; major in risk, insurance and law is an advantage.
- 1 - 2 years of administrative experience; candidates with insurance and claims experience will be advantage.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Proficiency in PC skills including MS Word and Excel.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Responsible, hardworking, flexible and proactive.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
