Account Receivable Executive

The Company Accountant will be responsible for managing the financial operations of the company, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory requirements. This role will involve handling day-to-day accounting tasks, preparing financial statements, and providing strategic financial insights to support the company's growth and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Present financial reports to the owner and other stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations.
Accounting Operations:
- Oversee daily accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and classified.
- Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Develop and manage the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
- Monitor actual performance against budget, providing variance analysis and explanations.
- Assist in long-term financial planning and strategy development.
Tax Compliance and Audit:
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare necessary tax filings.
- Coordinate with external auditors for annual audits and implement audit recommendations.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records for audit and compliance purposes.
Internal Controls and Risk Management:
- Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks through proactive measures.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
Financial Systems and Processes:
- Optimize financial systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Stay updated with accounting software and technology advancements.
- Provide training and support to staff on financial procedures and software.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification preferred).
- Proven experience as a Company Accountant, Accountant, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (ex, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Environment: The Company Accountant will primarily work in an office setting, with occasional opportunities for remote work. This role involves collaborating with various departments within the company and may require occasional travel for meetings or training.
