Responsibilities:
You are on a journey to join an exciting Company and be part of our success story. Here we will equip you with the know-how and experience that will define your growth. In this role that you are about to embark on, you are required to carry out the following responsibilities:
- Management of the overall order process flow to ensure shipping orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.
- Monitor vessel activities such as vessel arrival for bulk shipment.
- Assess and evaluate the adequacy and efficiency of the overall order process flow and spearhead any process re-engineering initiatives to promote the efficiency and effectiveness of the process.
- Coordinate and prompt all relevant stakeholders to ensure shipping orders are fulfilled efficiently and to ensure payments are collected promptly.
- Conducting risk assessments on customer credit worthiness to ensure risk of bad debts is kept to minimal level by proposing payment terms which are in line with the Company's risk appetite.
- Responsible to in-coming and out-going order processing and shipping documentation, including generating delivery/shipping documents.
- Liaising with various internal and external stakeholders to issue invoices in a timely manner and ensure that there is minimal disruption to the Company's collections.
- Liaise with internal and external transport companies/departments for timely in-coming/ out-going shipments.
- Investigate and action all non-conformance and recommend corrective actions.
- Managing and providing solutions to conflicts which arise in the course of day to day operations.
