We're Hiring: Red Hat OpenShift Engineer


Location:
Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Are you an experienced
Red Hat OpenShift Engineer
with a passion for containerization, automation, and cloud-native technologies? We're looking for a
skilled technical professional
to design, implement, and support
Red Hat OpenShift solutions
for our enterprise customers.

This role involves
architecting OpenShift environments
,
conducting technical workshops
, and ensuring smooth deployment and operations across on-premise and cloud infrastructures. You'll be working closely with cross-functional teams and customers to deliver robust, scalable, and efficient solutions.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, architect, and deploy
    Red Hat OpenShift
    solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Configure and optimize OpenShift clusters across
    on-premise and cloud
    environments.
  • Conduct
    technical workshops, training, and knowledge-sharing sessions
    with customers and internal teams.
  • Automate deployments and day-to-day operations using
    Ansible, Terraform, and related tools
    .
  • Provide
    technical support
    and troubleshoot issues related to
    Kubernetes, networking, and storage
    .
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth integration with existing infrastructure.
  • Maintain documentation of designs, procedures, and best practices.
  • Stay current with
    OpenShift advancements, cloud technologies, and DevOps trends
    .


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in
    Computer Science, IT, or a related field
    .
  • 3+ years
    of hands-on experience with
    Red Hat OpenShift
    and
    Kubernetes
    .
  • Strong background in
    Linux administration
    ,
    containerization
    (Docker, Podman, CRI-O), and
    networking
    .
  • Proficiency in
    automation tools
    such as Ansible or Terraform.
  • Familiarity with
    cloud platforms
    (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Excellent
    communication and presentation skills
    for customer engagement and workshops.
  • Red Hat certifications (RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift)
    are highly desirable.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with
    service mesh technologies
    (e.g., Istio).
  • Knowledge of
    monitoring and logging tools
    (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Elasticsearch).
  • Understanding of
    multi-tenancy, high availability, and disaster recovery
    .
  • Experience in
    customer-facing technical support or consulting roles
    .
