About the role

We are seeking a diligent and organised General Store Clerk (Female Only) to join the team at Bestwise Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. This full-time role will be responsible for providing essential administrative and clerical support to maintain the smooth running of our busy retail store.

What you'll be doing

  • Greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Handling cash transactions, processing payments, and reconciling daily sales
  • Maintaining inventory records and restocking shelves as needed
  • Providing administrative support, such as filing, data entry, and document management
  • Answering customer inquiries and addressing any concerns
  • Supporting the store manager with various duties as required

What we're looking for

  • Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent numerical and administrative abilities, with a keen eye for detail
  • Proficient in the use of office equipment and computer software (e.g. MS Office)
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, retail environment
  • Flexible and adaptable, with a willingness to take on a variety of tasks
  • Prior experience as a store clerk or in a similar administrative role is preferred
