About the role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Account Assistant/Executive to join the dynamic team at BBX Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd in Ipoh, Perak. In this full-time position, you will play a crucial role in supporting the company's accounting and bookkeeping functions, contributing to the overall financial success of the organisation.

What you'll be doing

  • Able to handle full set of accounts;
  • Prepare monthly financial reports and accompanying schedule and reports;
  • Process monthly billing, claims, and payment.
  • Ensure all the accounting records are correctly updated and reconciled in the accounting system (Sage UBS accounting software)
  • Updating and generating weekly and monthly financial reports for management to review.
  • Liaison with the auditor and tax agent
  • Maintain proper documents and filing control to support accounting entries
  • Ad hoc task or assignment when required.

What we're looking for

  • Must possess at least Higher Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Accounting
  • At least 3 years of working experience.
  • Computer literate (Microsoft Excel & Preferably UBS Accounting Software).
  • Good team player and willing to learn.
  • Analytical, resourceful, organised, able to work independently with minimum supervision and under tight deadlines.
  • The candidate must be proficient in both written and oral English communication.
  • Able to communicate and write in Mandarin is an added advantage.
  • Able to start work immediately or within short notice is preferred.
