Job Description

  • We are seeking a skilled and proactive logistics operation executive with a strong background in Air freight operations, and customer service to join our growing team.
  • You will also be responsible for establishing and overseeing an operational workflow for customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the sales team by preparing accurate and competitive quotations, particularly for Air freight shipments.
  • Coordinate and manage end-to-end ocean freight operations, including booking, documentation, and communication with carriers, vendors, and customers.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, providing timely updates, handling inquiries, and resolving operational issues with professionalism.
  • Liaise with overseas agents (especially in Korea) and local service providers to ensure efficient shipment handling.
  • Source and negotiate rates with warehouse operators, transport companies, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of inbound and outbound shipments while meeting cost, accuracy, and timeliness targets.
  • To assist MD and Manager in achieving the company goals and objective
  • Perform any ad-hoc tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's degree in any discipline
  • At least 3 years of working experience in air freight operations with exposure to customer service.
  • Air freight knowledge is an added advantage
  • Independent, flexible, resourceful, and strong problem-solving
  • For this role, a 1 month's notice is required upon resignation
  • Assist in any ad-hoc assignments
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
