About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and talented Chef to join our dynamic team at Golfer Terrace', located within the Sabah Golf & Country Club (SGCC) in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

As our Chef, you will be responsible for creating and preparing delicious, high-quality Chinese and Western dishes that delight our guests.

This is a full-time position within our Hospitality & Tourism organisation.


What You'll Be Doing
  • Plan and prepare a diverse range of Chinese and Western cuisines that are both innovative and visually appealing
  • Ensure the highest standards of food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction
  • Manage kitchen staff, delegate tasks, and provide training and guidance as needed
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and efficient kitchen environment
  • Monitor inventory levels and place orders for necessary ingredients and supplies
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop new menu items and seasonal offerings
  • Adhere to all relevant health, safety, and hygiene regulations

What We're Looking For
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience as a Chef in a similar hospitality setting
  • Strong culinary skills in both Chinese and Western cooking techniques and cuisines
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Passion for creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests
  • Flexibility to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays
