Job Title: Accountant

Industry: Property Development

Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 8.30am – 4.30pm

Company Overview:

We are a growing property development company dedicated to building sustainable, high-quality, and affordable homes for our community. As we expand, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant with a strong background in the property development industry to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain full set of accounts in compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow projections for management review.
  • Handle project costing, budget monitoring, and variance analysis for ongoing and upcoming developments.
  • Manage accounts receivable/payable, progress billing, loan drawdowns, and end-financing claims.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and government authorities for financial and compliance matters.
  • Ensure accurate and timely submission of statutory reports (SST, income tax, etc.).
  • Monitor project expenditures and ensure proper allocation of costs to respective projects.
  • Support management in financial planning, feasibility studies, and investment decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, etc.).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, with at least a year in the property development industry.
  • Strong knowledge of project accounting, property-related transactions, and end-financing processes.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., SQL, UBS, AutoCount) and MS Office applications.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Good communication skills and a team-player attitude.
