Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and maintain all aspects of process quality control to ensure product consistency and compliance.
  • Attend to customer complaints and supplier quality issues, conduct thorough investigations, and ensure effective resolution.
  • Identify and analyse product quality issues through daily field parts return reviews, root cause analysis, and issuance of Non-Conformance Reports (NCR).
  • Manage and review PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation prior to release.
  • Ensure incoming, in-process, and final product inspections are performed according to documented procedures.
  • Lead the IQC (Incoming Quality Control) team—assign tasks, monitor performance, and maintain the quality of received parts.
  • Oversee corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to ensure lasting effectiveness.
  • Manage quality administration, including manpower planning and internal documentation control.
  • Establish, negotiate, and maintain quality standards, specifications, and in-house procedures.
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Technical teams to support new product development, including BOM reviews, SOP preparation, and master document management.
  • Analyse quality data to identify improvement opportunities and implement system enhancements.
  • Maintain and update ISO 9001:2015 QMS documentation—register new procedures, forms, and ensure all documents meet required standards.
  • Communicate product changes and new product introductions to all relevant stakeholders.
  • Promote and maintain 5S practices, discipline, and a safe, efficient working environment.
  • Ensure full compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System at all times.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Quality, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing QA/QC environment.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 9001:2015, PPAP, NCR, CAPA, and QMS documentation.
  • Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Willing to travel frequently for quality inspections, audits, and supplier/customer visits.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM2, RM3,200.00 per month
