We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Executive to join GBR Group, the high-growth parent company behind our leading beauty brand, KITSUI. This crucial role serves as the financial steward of the company, responsible for the end-to-end management of full sets of accounts, leveraging our ERP systems to drive financial integrity and support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Accounting Mastery: Efficiently manage the full spectrum of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), and meticulous bank reconciliations.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and deliver accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
  • Cash Flow Oversight: Proactively monitor and manage daily cash flow, petty cash funds, and critical bank transactions.
  • Revenue Cycle Management: Ensure timely and accurate invoicing, process payments efficiently, and execute diligent collection follow-ups.
  • Strategic Support: Assist in the annual budgeting cycle, contribute to financial forecasting, and actively participate in cost control initiatives.
  • Compliance & Audit Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors, tax agents, and the company secretary, ensuring all required documentation is handled professionally.
  • Regulatory Adherence: Guarantee strict compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS/FRS), company policies, and relevant tax regulations (e.g., SST submissions).
  • System Integrity: Maintain and manage accurate financial records and documentation within the designated ERP system, ensuring data integrity.

Requirements

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a highly relevant field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of hands-on experience managing full sets of accounts.
  • Technical Expertise (Critical): Proven proficiency and working experience with enterprise-level ERP software (e.g., SQL Accounting, SAP Business One, Oracle, etc.) is mandatory.
  • Foundational Knowledge: Strong, practical understanding of accounting principles (GAAP/MFRS) and financial reporting standards.
  • Key Attributes: Exceptional attention to detail, proven analytical skills, and a strong commitment to accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent command of both English and Bahasa Malaysia (verbal and written).
  • Work Ethic: Highly motivated, able to work independently, and committed to meeting strict deadlines.
  • Industry Advantage: Prior experience in the FMCG, beauty, or retail sector is a distinct advantage.
  • Tax & Audit: Familiarity with local SST submissions and experience supporting external audit processes.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2, RM3,300.00 per month
