Our Client has expanded recently due to business demands and will be seeking for multiple positions including Project Manager, Site Engineer and Quantity Surveyor. In this job, we are looking for an experienced Project Manager (Infrastructure and Earthwork) to join our client as part of their growth. This full-time, on-site role will be based across Malaysia and will play a crucial part in the successful delivery of the construction projects from Kedah, Penang, Selangor and Johor. The client is headquartered in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the construction site, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards
  • Oversee and coordinate the work of subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to project plans, safety protocols and quality requirements
  • Monitor progress, identify and resolve any issues or delays, and implement corrective actions as needed
  • Manage site resources, including personnel, equipment and materials, to optimise efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Provide regular updates to the project management team and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of construction processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in site management for construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, materials, and safety protocols.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing infrastructure and earthwork projects
  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and equipment
  • Excellent problem-solving, decision-making and project management skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team of contractors and subcontractors
  • Thorough knowledge of relevant health, safety and environmental regulations
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, specifications and contracts
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
