Key responsibilities

  • Record and maintain financial data: Record financial transactions, update ledgers, and ensure all financial records are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable: Prepare and process invoices, bills, and statements for both customers and vendors.
  • Manage accounts: Handle accounts payable and receivable, reconcile bank statements, and communicate with vendors and clients regarding payment and account balances.
  • Assist with reporting and analysis: Help prepare financial reports, balance sheets, and assist with budget preparation and expense tracking.
  • Support audits and tax filings: Assist senior accountants with audits and help ensure the timely and accurate filing of tax returns.
  • Perform general administrative duties: Handle general office tasks like filing, emailing, printing, and data entry to support the accounting department.

Essential skills and qualifications

  • Accuracy and attention to detail: A high level of accuracy is crucial for all financial tasks.
  • Organizational and time-management skills: The ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines is essential.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in accounting software and strong Microsoft Excel skills are often required.
  • Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed for interacting with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Teamwork: The ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction is important.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1, RM1,800.00 per month
