We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced 11kV BO Chargeman to manage the high and low-voltage electrical operations of PJ City, Tower A. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems, including switchgears, transformers, and power distribution networks, operate with the utmost safety, reliability, and full compliance with all relevant regulatory standards.

This role requires a professional who can conduct daily operations, perform both preventive and corrective maintenance, and provide expert supervision to a team of technicians, vendors, and contractors. The ideal candidate must be prepared to respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations to minimize power outages and maintain operational uptime.

This position will report directly to the Building Manager.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
Functional (job responsibilities)

• To be the registered 11kV BO Chargeman for the company and property.

• Strategically manage and supervise outsourced vendors to ensure quality and timely service.

• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex electrical faults to minimize service interruptions.

• Act as the primary liaison with regulatory bodies and utility providers, ensuring adherence to all standards.

• Proactively monitor power consumption and initiate maintenance plans to prevent failures.

• Lead the response to all power failures and system trips, ensuring swift and effective rectification.

• Conduct rigorous periodic inspections of all 11kV electrical systems and components.

• Mentor and lead a team of technicians and contractors, enforcing stringent safety protocols at all times.

• Contribute to additional projects and assignments to enhance overall building performance.

Jobholder Requirements

• Malaysian citizen.

Education/Qualification

• Hold a valid Chargeman Certificate (11kV).

 Experience/Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years of hands-on experience as a Chargeman or in a similar supervisory capacity.

• Deep expertise in the design, installation, and maintenance of electrical systems.

• A highly analytical and proactive self-starter with outstanding communication skills.

• Demonstrated ability to effectively lead and motivate a technical team.

• Flexible and available for on-call emergency response.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

• Willingness to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and to work outside of standard hours when required.
