Job Description:

  • Oversee and manage the full spectrum of accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and monthly closing activities.
  • Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and relevant accounting schedules with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements (audit, tax submission, SST, etc.).
  • Review accounting entries and supporting documents to ensure accuracy and proper classification of transactions.
  • Lead and guide junior accounting staff, providing support, training, and resolving day-to-day accounting issues.
  • Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and other stakeholders when required.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and continuous improvement of financial processes.
  • Implement improvements in accounting processes, system enhancements, and workflow efficiencies.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Finance Manager / Finance Director.

Job Requirements:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA, CIMA, MICPA is an added advantage).
  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant working experience in accounting or finance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., SQL, Autocount, SAP, etc.).
  • Experience in supervising junior staff is an added advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM4, RM6,000.00 per month
