JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Executive, Account and Finance will be responsible for overseeing daily accounting and financial activities, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, managing financial reporting, and supporting the organization in achieving its financial objectives. The role also involves leading junior finance staff, budgeting, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports including profit & loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
  • Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends, and provide insights to the management team.

2. Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term planning.
  • Monitor and analyze budget performance, highlighting discrepancies and advising corrective actions.

3. Audit & Compliance:

  • Coordinate and manage external and internal audit processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and corporate governance standards.
  • Prepare tax filings and ensure timely submissions for SST, income tax, and other related taxes.

4. Cash Flow Management:

  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure liquidity.
  • Develop cash flow forecasts and manage working capital efficiently.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement.

5. Accounts Payable & Receivable:

  • Supervise the Accounts Payable and Receivable functions to ensure timely processing of invoices and payments.
  • Oversee debt collection efforts and maintain strong relationships with vendors and clients.
  • Ensure the accuracy and completeness of transaction entries.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in finance, accounting or related field.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, especially for financial modelling and data analysis as well as Accounting system.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving skills, ability to work independently, able to manage deadlines and multitask effectively.
