About the role

Join the dynamic team at Alliance Bank Malaysia Berhad as an Account Relationship Manager (Laksamana Branch). In this full-time position based in Kuching, Sarawak, you will play a crucial role in developing and nurturing strong relationships with our valued clients, ensuring exceptional service and driving business growth.

What you'll be doing

  1. Proactively identify and build relationships with new and existing clients to understand their financial needs and goals
  2. Provide personalised banking solutions and recommendations to help clients achieve their objectives
  3. Maintain a thorough understanding of the bank's products and services to effectively promote and cross-sell offerings
  4. Actively participate in sales and marketing activities to promote the bank's brand and capabilities
  5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and ongoing support
  6. Maintain accurate records and provide timely reporting on client interactions and sales performance
  7. Contribute to the overall growth and success of the Laksamana Branch and the wider organisation

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar account management or relationship banking role
  2. Proven track record of building and maintaining strong client relationships
  3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with clients
  4. Strong sales and negotiation skills, with the ability to identify and close business opportunities
  5. Proficient in financial analysis and the ability to provide tailored solutions to meet client needs
  6. Good understanding of the banking industry, products, and regulatory environment
  7. Collaborative team player with a proactive and customer-centric approach
