Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential products to be developed in the assigned category.
  • Prepare monthly review and provide counter measure.
  • Supplier negotiation to achieve best supply & support.
  • Supplier discussion on new item innovation, promotions, and product purchasing.
  • Weekly target sales and quantity allocation for store to achieve by making weekly production plan.
  • Day to day operational issue support to smoothen the operational task.
  • Weekly & Monthly review on sales & counter measure including store best practice.
  • Weekly ordering planning for store.
  • Preparing layout and equipment for new stores opening / renovation.
  • Check the execution of monthly promotion plan.
  • Monitoring supplier delivery ratio.
  • Provide sales counter measure as and when necessary.
  • Store visit to store and checking on the selling floor and backroom condition.
  • Support on special projects to improved department sales & activity.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Diploma / Advanced Diploma / Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Master's Degree in any field.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience as buyer / merchandiser or equivalent.
  • Customer focused, strong oral communications with demonstrated ability to lead/influence and a team player.
  • Ability to manage complex and competing priorities whilst building simple strategies to improve results.
  • Possess own transport and able to work in Maluri, Cheras.
