Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a specific merchandise category, including sourcing, pricing, inventory management, marketing, and sales planning.
  • Develop short- and long-term category strategies that align with targets and consumer demand.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to proactively adjust assortment and pricing strategies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key business partners, including local and international brands to support business growth.
  • Plan seasonal campaigns, product launches, and special events to maximize customer engagement and sales.
  • Monitor stock levels, manage markdowns, and ensure optimal inventory turnover to reduce loss and overstocking.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in any discipline; a background in fashion, marketing, or business is a plus.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in merchandising, preferably in fashion within a department store or retail environment.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and managerial skills; able to set objectives and follow through.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Team-oriented, collaborative, and adaptable to a multicultural, fast-paced retail environment.
  • Familiarity with merchandising or inventory management tools is an advantage.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5, RM10,340.90 per month
