Job Description

  • Serve as a key liaison between production sites and customers to ensure smooth communication and alignment.
  • Maintain high product quality standards and support initiatives to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Responsibilities will be progressively expanded based on your capability and experience.
  • Coordinate and support internal quality audits as well as customer-led external audits.
  • Investigate product defects and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
  • Manage customer complaints, including root cause analysis, preparation of reports, and follow-up on improvement actions.
  • Provide quality support to overseas client sites (Japan, Europe, China, Thailand, etc.), including occasional business trips.
  • Develop and establish quality assurance frameworks and documentation for new product launches.
  • Monitor in-process quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collect, analyze, and present quality-related data to relevant stakeholders.
  • Review, update, and maintain quality manuals, SOPs, and other QA documentation.
  • Contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs and quality objectives.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficient in English (speaking, reading, and writing), as it is the official workplace language.
  • Business-level Japanese proficiency (equivalent to JLPT N2) is an added advantage for communication with Japanese clients.
  • Hands-on experience in managing customer complaints and/or supporting audit-related activities is required.
  • Must possess a valid driving license (a company car will be provided for commuting in the future).
  • Willing to travel domestically within Malaysia (around once every 2 months) and internationally (around once every 6 months) to countries such as Japan, Europe, China, and Thailand.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both local and overseas clients; proactive, adaptable, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Capable of independently gathering information and proposing practical, value-adding improvement ideas.
  • A strong team player; experience in team sports or group-based activities is considered an advantage.

Compensation

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM
  • Working Location: Balakong, Selangor
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonus
  • Salary Increment: Based on individual performance
  • Insurance & Leave: Provided in accordance with Malaysian labour law
  • Overtime: Required occasionally, depending on business needs
  • Business Trips: All travel-related expenses will be reimbursed
  • Travel Allowance: Provided for business trip assignments
