Real Estate Negotiator Job Description (Malaysia)

Position: Real Estate Negotiator

Responsibilities:

  • Client Representation:
  • Assist clients in buying, selling, or renting properties.
  • Act as an intermediary in negotiations between buyers and sellers.
  • Market Knowledge:
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on property values, market conditions, and financing options.
  • Stay updated on real estate trends and legal regulations in Malaysia.
  • Property Management:
  • Conduct property viewings and site inspections.
  • Prepare and manage property listings, ensuring they are accurate and appealing.
  • Sales and Marketing:
  • Develop marketing strategies for property listings, including online and offline campaigns.
  • Build and maintain a database of prospective clients and properties.
  • Property Developer Collaboration:
  • Represent property developers in promoting and selling their projects to potential buyers.
  • Organize and manage promotional events, such as property launches, roadshows, and exhibitions.
  • Provide detailed presentations to clients on project specifications, amenities, and investment potential.
  • Liaise with property developers on pricing, promotions, and updates to project timelines.
  • Documentation and Compliance:
  • Handle necessary paperwork, such as sale agreements, tenancy agreements, and other related contracts.
  • Ensure compliance with Malaysia's legal and regulatory requirements in property transactions.
  • Relationship Management:
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by offering exceptional service.
  • Provide after-sales support and follow up on transactions.
  • Collaboration with Marketing Teams:
  • Work closely with marketing team to align sales strategies with broader promotional campaigns.
  • Assist in the preparation of marketing materials and advertisements specific to the developer's projects.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum SPM qualification; higher education is an advantage.
  • Certification or license as a Real Estate Negotiator (issued by BOVAEA/LPPEH).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage, especially Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Chinese.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with good negotiation skills.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
  • Own transportation for property viewings and client meetings.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • Number of successful transactions closed.
  • Number of units sold for developer projects.
  • Effectiveness in promoting developer projects through events and marketing.
  • Client satisfaction and retention rates.
  • Growth in personal or team sales targets.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM1.00 - RM25,000.00 per month
