Universal Robina Corporation is looking for an
Assistant Manager, Category Development.
Support Category Development to jointly develop category / brand vision with marketing. Planning and execution excellence for marketing plans and NPD launches.
What are the Roles and Responsibilities?
- Assist in benchmarking data for New Product Development (NPD), Renovations, and Relaunches.
- Compile and validate volume forecasts, Temporary Price Reductions (TPR), and promotions to ensure alignment with sales targets.
- Compile listing fees and provide regular status updates on progress and payments.
- Support the development of category stories for customers and key accounts through detailed analysis.
- Manage Retail 360 initiatives for channels and key customers, including trade support, Point of Sale Materials (POSM), displays, and sampling points.
- Ensure the availability of NPD stocks and the appropriate types of POSM within budget.
- Plan and oversee the execution of in-store activations, ensuring alignment with sales goals and budget constraints.
- Assist in developing and analyzing channel trade plans to optimize sales and customer engagement.
- Support the creation and maintenance of customized trade calendars for specific channels and customers.
- Coordinate and execute channel-specific activations and trade marketing campaigns.
- Manage the planning, distribution, and placement of POSM to ensure effective in-store visibility.
- Liaise with third-party agencies to manage promotional activities, ensuring timely and quality execution.
- Assist in analyzing the return on investment (ROI) of promotions and support Profit & Loss (P&L) assessments.
- Provide general support to the Trade Marketing team, including ad hoc projects and tasks as needed.
What are the Qualifications?
- Minimum Degree in Business/Marketing or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of Trade Marketing experience.
- Experience with NPD, POSM, and in-store activation in the FMCG industry is preferrable.
