This role is pivotal in leading our digital team to deliver exceptional web experiences, ensuring projects are executed flawlessly, client expectations are exceeded, and our digital presence strengthens our brand; success will be measured by team productivity, client satisfaction, and the measurable impact of our digital projects on business goals, positioning this role as a critical bridge between our creative team and client success within the organization.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Team Leadership and Project Management:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the design and development team.
  • Assign, manage, and track project progress, ensuring adherence to deadlines and budgets.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, provide constructive feedback, and foster a collaborative environment.
  • Implement and maintain efficient project workflows and quality control processes.

Website Development (Hands-On):

  • Design, develop, and maintain websites using CMS Platform & Wordpress.
  • Implement responsive design principles to ensure optimal viewing experiences across all devices.
  • Optimize website performance, including page speed, SEO, and accessibility.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website technical issues.

UI/UX Design:

  • Lead the UI/UX design process, creating wireframes, prototypes, and user flows.
  • Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions.
  • Ensure intuitive and user-friendly website interfaces.
  • Maintain consistent brand design across all digital platforms.

Graphic Design:

  • Provide design direction and guidance to the graphic design team.
  • Review and approve graphic design deliverables, ensuring they meet brand standards and client expectations.
  • Contribute to the creation of visual assets for websites, social media, and marketing materials.

Client Communication and Relationship Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on web development and design projects.
  • Gather and document client requirements, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Present design concepts and website progress to clients.
  • Manage client expectations and address any concerns.

Technical Proficiency:

  • Maintain expert-level knowledge of the Duda platform and related web development technologies.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends in web design, development, and digital marketing.
  • Implement best practices for website security and data privacy.

Sales and Estimating:

  • Provide accurate time and cost estimates for website and design projects.
  • Help to create sales proposals.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate, Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Art/Design/Creative Multimedia, Advertising/Media or any relevant certification.
  • At least 3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Bandar Sunway.
  • Possession of creative flair, versatility.
  • Understanding of cultural considerations in creative design for global audiences is a plus.
  • Proven experience in website development and UI/UX design.
  • Strong proficiency with WordPress, experience with Duda will be added advantage.
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (or a willingness to learn).
  • Expertise in graphic design principles and tools (Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Excellent project management and team leadership skills.
  • Strong communication and client management abilities.
  • A portfolio showcasing web development and design projects.
