1. Customer Assistance and Basic Health Support

• Assist customers in selecting appropriate products, including OTC medications, health supplements, personal care items, and other pharmacy-related products.
• Provide basic advice for managing minor ailments such as colds, allergies, and general wellness needs.
• Refer complex health inquiries or prescription-related questions to the Health Advisor or pharmacist for further guidance.
• Actively promote pharmacy services such as membership programs, purchase-with-purchase (PWP) offers, and current promotions to enhance the customer experience.
• Demonstrate effective communication by explaining product features, usage instructions, and benefits clearly.

2. Sales and Promotions

• Actively recommend complementary products to address customer needs, increasing sales and customer satisfaction.
• Stay updated on new product launches, promotions, and health trends to provide accurate and timely advice.
• Support the pharmacy's sales goals by promoting health and wellness products, including vitamins, supplements, and personal care items.
• Participate in promotional activities, health campaigns, product sampling, and events to support the pharmacy's marketing initiatives.
• Adhere to promotional guidelines, ensuring compliance with house rules and any promotional terms set by the pharmacy.

3. Operational Support

• Replenish shelves, organize product displays, and ensure accurate pricing and labeling for all items.
• Conduct regular inventory checks to track stock levels, monitor expiration dates, and ensure proper stock rotation.
• Assist in receiving and verifying stock deliveries to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Adhere to pharmacy operational guidelines to ensure compliance with store policies and procedures.
• Support daily operational routines such as store opening and closing tasks, ensuring all duties are completed efficiently.

4. Compliance and Hygiene

• Follow health and safety regulations to ensure the safe handling of products, including compliance with the Poison Act.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic environment in all areas of the pharmacy, including shelves, counters, and customer service areas.
• Regularly sanitize high-touch surfaces and consultation zones to provide a safe shopping experience for customers.

5. Cashiering and Promotions

• Handle cashiering duties, including processing payments and maintaining cash register accuracy.
• Highlight promotional items, recommend bundle deals, and encourage customers to participate in loyalty programs or app-based benefits.
• Assist customers with app downloads and membership registrations to enhance their access to pharmacy services.

6. Health Screening Support

• Assist in conducting basic health screenings under supervision, such as blood pressure monitoring, BMI assessments, or glucose checks (where permitted by law).
• Provide product recommendations based on screening results and refer customers to the pharmacist for further advice when needed.

7. Customer Service Excellence

• Deliver friendly, empathetic, and professional service to build strong relationships with customers.
• Actively listen to customer concerns and provide appropriate solutions or referrals.
• Be attentive to customers and anticipate their needs, ensuring their satisfaction is always the first priority.
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to ensure seamless and efficient customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1, RM2,200.00 per month
