WE'RE HIRING: SENIOR EXECUTIVE, SME FINANCIAL EDUCATION DEPARTMENT

JOB PURPOSE:

To lead and support strategic marketing and financial education initiatives by promoting AKPK's services, building strong partnerships, and delivering impactful outreach programs that enhance financial literacy and position AKPK as a trusted authority in financial wellness.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Marketing Strategy & Execution: Promote AKPK's financial education programs and products to the target market within the approved budget.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify new trends, gaps, and opportunities.
• Strategic Partnerships: Build and maintain partnerships with influential figures and industry icons to enhance the brand and demonstrate thought leadership.
• Collaborative Projects: Plan co-branded projects that increase market penetration and build brand advocacy.
• Program Development: Help develop financial education solutions and initiatives to position AKPK as the authority on financial wellness.
• Innovation & Change Management: Drive a culture of continuous improvement and experimentation within the marketing department.
• Experiential Campaigns: Plan and execute immersive brand activations and experiential marketing campaigns, managing all logistics and budgets.
• Public Representation & Speaking: Act as a speaker for financial education events (Government, Financial Institutions, Universities, SMEs) and conduct media interviews as required.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all marketing activities adhere to legal and moral guidelines for financial services.
• Content Creation: Develop compelling stories and thought leadership content across various multimedia channels (blogs, podcasts, webinars, etc.).
• Event Participation: Represent AKPK at exhibitions and roadshows to enhance public financial literacy.
• General Duties: Handle administrative tasks and other assigned duties from Management or the HOD.

EXPERIENCES:

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in marketing, communications, public relations, or financial education.
• Strong background in event planning, content creation, and brand management.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement, media handling, and public speaking.
• Familiarity with financial services marketing regulations and multimedia campaign execution.
• Ability to conduct market research and develop strategic outreach plans.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional certifications in marketing, financial planning, or public speaking (e.g., CFP, CIM, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
• Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, financial education, or communications.
• Proficient in digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and content creation.
• Strong command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.

WORKING CONDITION:

• Primarily office-based with frequent travel for outreach programmes, events, and stakeholder engagements.
• May require working on weekends or public holidays to support campaigns, exhibitions, or financial education events.
• Involves public speaking, facilitating sessions, and interacting with various audience groups.
• Requires adaptability, multitasking, and continuous collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Normal physical exertion with occasional standing or moving during roadshows or activations.
