Job Title: Head, Credit Scoring & Limit Management

Department: Group Technology & Digital – Corporate Functions

Reports To: Head of Corporate Functions

Role Overview

This role partners closely with business teams to ensure smooth execution of technology projects. You will oversee IT systems related to credit scoring and limit management, act as the main point of contact for business users, and ensure technology supports overall business goals. You will also lead solution planning, manage stakeholders, and guide teams to meet strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with business owners to deliver projects successfully and solve emerging challenges.
  • Oversee technology operations and ensure they meet organisational goals.
  • Develop IT policies and systems aligned with management's strategies.
  • Analyse business requirements across departments to determine technology needs.
  • Identify, propose, and implement solutions that bring value to the business.
  • Use strategic planning, market insights, best practices, and strong project management to support initiatives.
  • Serve as the main contact for business teams on IT-related matters.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships at all levels, including senior management.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and execution skills; able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good understanding of banking risk trends, issues, laws, and regulations.
  • Ability to identify patterns, solve complex problems, and uncover root causes.
  • Knowledge of banking facilities and industry regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Professional, positive attitude with high integrity.
  • Experience implementing or managing banking risk systems in a financial institution or large organisation.

Certifications (Preferred)

  • Project/Program Management, Agile, Scrum, or ITIL certifications.
  • Certifications related to the Banking Risk domain (added advantage).

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: RM13, RM18,000.00 per month
